Im Nin'alu

If The Doors Are Locked

If there be no mercy left in the world,
The doors of heaven will never be barred.
The Creator reigns supreme,
and is higher than the angels
All, in His spirit, will rise

By His nearness, His life-giving breath
flows through them.
And they glory in His name
From the moment of genesis,
His creations grow,
Captivating and more beautiful

The wheel in his circle thunders
Acclaiming His Holy name
Clothed in the glory of His radiance,
The six-winged cherubs surround Him,
Whirling in His honor
And with their free wings sweetly sing,
Together, in unison

Merry Christmas!

When did you become "analytical, nerdy and intoverted " ?

I don't recall seeing that lot before!

I've updated my profile a little. If you knew me in day to day life it would make perfect sense. At least, I think so and so do most of my acquaintances. Except my boss who asked a few weeks ago if I dyed my hair dark. "You sure you're not blonde under there???"

Mind you, being analytical, nerdy and introverted does not exclude being opinionated or outspoken at certain times.

It catches me off guard when people tell me that I'm quiet. There is so much going on in my head. I forget that others can't hear it!

One of the best things an instuctor (at school) ever said to me was (in critique of one of my paintings which he liked), "When you're good at making noise you should put a lot of silence around it. That way it has more impact."

That was one that I filed away.

We all have our "blonde moments" as they're known over here. I have them on a regular basis particularly when I'm driving.

I guess I only get the impression that you're quiet because you give very little away : then again, neither do I and I'm not so quiet either.

What did you study in school ? Did you train in Art ?

Not only that but I see I'm talking to another Warren Zevon fan (I thought I was the only one in the world) and you have my favourite girl of all time - Daria - as your avatar thingy in The Cage.

Wow - the respect just piles up !!!

Daria! Ha! I've been told that I am Daria. That's why I put her up there at The Cage.

I love "Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner". I'm not a Zevon die-hard but I love three of his songs.

Roland, Muhammed's Radio and Desparadoes Under the Eves. I'm familiar with others but those are my three favorites.

Now if I had to choose a Warren Zevon song it's be "Carmelita". Drips with sarcasm from start to finish !
